McDONALD’s PRIDE.
As the Agency-Of-Record for McDonald’s Pride efforts, it’s a privilege to amplify the voices of the LGBTQ+ community, encouraging all to live their truth.
When clients like McDonald’s put their money where their mouth is, it makes my job easy, allowing us to step in and do what we do best, which is creating original and inspiring feel-good moments between the community and the brand.
At Davis Elen, we had the opportunity to design both the busses and the float that would be at several pride parades across the nation.
We know this is a loud, in-your-face event and consequently, we wanted a float that brought the party but still wanted to keep things simple because we needed folks dancing on this thing.
The final design consisted of a rainbow bridge connecting the north and south ends of the float, an incredible DJ booth with an audio set-up sure to rattle some glass and some extremely
loud accoutrements. On the float were queer professional dancers, DJ’s, influencers and even the CEO of McDonald’s North America.
We also did a national takeover of metro busses in major cities and small towns that were hosting pride parades. They were impossible to miss.
